Dr Jenny Herman
Dr. Jenny Herman grew up in West Monroe, Louisiana. She attended West Monroe High School, then earned a Bachelors in Biochemistry with a Minor in Chemistry from Louisiana State University. While studying there, she received the Chancellor’s Future Leaders in Research Scholarship, Centennial Scholarship, and was named L.S.U. Alumni Association Top 100 Scholars. Dr. Herman received her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from L.S.U. School of Dentistry in 2016. She went on to complete her residency in Periodontics there in 2019, Where she served as the Chief Resident.
In her spare time, Dr. Herman enjoys cooking and fishing. She is a life-long Saints fan, and loves all things L.S.U.

Dr. Herman has extensive leadership and volunteer experience. As Community Service Chair for LSUHSC dental class of 2016, she organized community service opportunities for members of her class including fundraisers, food drives and Habitat for Humanity service. Dr. Herman has volunteered for both the New Orleans and the Louisiana Missions of Mercy, and provided dental services and supplies to adults and children in the mountain communities of Guatemala through the L.S.U. Global Healing. She served as Clinic Co-Coordinator at the Ozenam Inn in New Orleans, working with medical students to provide free health and dental care for the homeless.
